WHAT IS THE PROGRAME ALL ABOUT
The purpose of visit to such Festival is to create the multicultural environment and to contribute to the formation of the principles of tolerance, equality of rights and religious liberty within the international community of children. The Festival is aimed at instilling in children a spirit of international cooperation and friendship so as to pool their efforts to realize the high goals of peace and harmony.
Before coming to Artek we were very excited about going there We even read all the information available in the Artek website about the ideals and the formation of Artek. After coming to Artek we thought that we may have a tough time and would be competing and striving for becoming one of the best countries in the festival. We thought that it would be a cut-throat competition. But on first night itself, we learned that it was not so difficult as we Indians know the skill of wining hearts with our energy and commitment. Artek is truly a very enjoyable place to be in. You can do all kind of things one want to do or learn mutually. We also had a lot of fun there. We even got an opportunity to choose our hobby clubs. There were all sorts of sports, art and cultural clubs there. The main idea of Artek is-"Let's Change The World For The Better".
We had chosen our own hobby clubs and were attending participating countries' fairs and presentations every day. It is very entertaining and educational. We have read lots of things in school about all these countries, but direct interaction with fellow members visiting artek was a different experience all together learning their cultures and traditions in such an interactive way. After every presentation we had at least an hour of music and dance. During these hours everybody forget about which country the belong to and had full fun. In the peace conferences we were educated about the problems of all children in the world and different ways to tackle them. We were also educated about the different ways of popularizing our cause of child empowerment. The idea of participating in Artek is also to promote international harmony and understanding between likeminded countries.
We had the same goals, interests and ideas. We were united by art, creativity and friendship. We believe we could change the world for the better because it is easier for every one to understand the mind set in spite of languages barrier, express our ideas and to make real friends forever. We wish our country should also have such camps to create unity, friendship, peace and harmony which can pay in the long way for changing the world for the better.

What were DISCUSSION CLUB.
The Discussion Club has been established as a mean of providing children with opportunities to practice the art of debate. The Discussion Club will function within the framework of the Festival giving the opportunity for all those who are willing to express their thoughts to share opinions and make one step closer towards the mutual understanding.
The activity of the Club is aimed at the development of children diplomacy, consolidation of their social position, informing the country leaders and international organizations of the children’s problems and aspirations, forcing them to take into consideration the interests of the children while adopting the decisions, which are vitally important for the society.
Themes:
· The Rights of a Child;
· Instilling the principles of tolerance and respect in the society;
· Sustainable development of the world’s community without violence and wars, the establishment of peace and stability;
· Mutual understanding between the representatives of different nations and cultures, who practice different traditions and customs;
· Healthy lifestyle;
· The issuing of the Appeal to the international organizations and country leaders;

Purpose of the Festival
· Promoting, popularization, development of children and youth fashion; organization of seminars, master classes, round tables, photo sessions.
· Motivating of children art groups, working in the field of kids fashion, children model agencies and studios, talented teachers, choreographers, professional young models.
· Presentation of kidswear collections of leading Ukrainian designers and trade marls.
· Encouragement of kidswear trade marks.
· Presentation of clothes collections, incentive of young designers (under the age of 18).
· Development of field in production of kids sportswear and comfort wear for play.

22nd July , the national day of 6 countries began with a blast . It was a proud day for us as our country was one of them who took part .

MORE ABOUT OUR STAY

Welcome back friends. Nowadays we are having a very nice time at Artek. We have chosen our own hobby clubs and are attending countries' fairs and presentations every day. It is very entertaining and educational. We have read lots of things about all these countries in school, but direct experience of their cultures and traditions in such an interactive and fun way is very good. After every presentation we have at least an hour of disco. During these hours everybody forgets about all their problems and have fun. We are also getting serious now. In the peace conferences we are educated about the problems of all children in the world and different ways to tackle them. We are also educated about the different ways of popularising our cause of child empowerment. For example, we can use other non govermental organisations like football fan clubs to promote our cause. The idea of Artek is also to promote international harmony and understanding. So friends, write to you next time.

India in Artek

Hello friends, welcome to our web diary. This diary will be dedicated to our stay in Artek and all the nice and exciting things that happen here. This will also be dedicated for promoting peace and harmony in the world and also in India.We are writing this blog after one week's stay in Artek. You can do all kind of things you want to do or learn over here. For example I, Kavin went in as India's peace ambassador over here. My friend Amish went into the International Press Centre. We also had a lot of fun here. For example We get swim in the Black Sea every day. We even get to choose our hobby clubs.
